Previously we've had contests that are more seasonal/holiday oriented. I want to do something different so that we can get a bigger variety of Shadouge artwork. I'm going to experiment, and see how creative you guys can be.
Contest Theme:
Draw Shadow and Rouge in a combat situation. Think action. Be creative.

We are making a conversion. The name of our new group is "Shadow-N-Rouge" If you see an INVITATION to submit your artwork please ACCEPT. We are attempting to MOVE OUR GALLERY TO THE GROUP.
I would like each artwork to be represented by it's original owner so that they get the favorites and comments that they deserve.
Please Join this group as well as it is an extension of this club. ALL FURTHER UPDATES OF THIS CLUB WILL BE FEATURED ON THIS GROUP, NOT HERE. SO PLEASE JOIN AND RESUBMIT YOUR WORK, OR ACCEPT INVITATIONS YOU WILL BE RECEIVING.

As members of this club, this directly effects you. Artist's, should I go to your individual galleries and request the artworks that are also featured in our current gallery to be put into our groups new gallery? Or would you rather me take all the work from THIS CLUB and submit OUR gallery to the group account.
Basically, do i take work from the club, or your actual account. What do you think is best?
I would rather do the individual thing-- but It will be more time consuming and some members may not respond since they may have left deviantart since they submitted their work.
I plan to maintain the individual or self submission as a permanent method after we make our conversion. So my question is how should I go about moving our current gallery to the group.
Just want to get your opinions before I make my decision.

Welp- I submitted the application to create a group. The FAQ said to wait for an approval message. I don't know how long that typically takes? But I'll keep my eyes opened for it.
But yes we're in the process of shifting into group format.
It was hard to find a name since so many are taken for ShadowxRouge themed clubs. I figured one out- I'll be playing it off. It sucks that our original name has been taken but oh well. New beginnings

We will be Rebooting - Feedback wanted

As the Sonic Franchise has taken a turn away from including Shadow the hedgehog and Rouge the bat from the main star line up and has started to focus more on its roots (with games such as Sonic 4), there has not been a lot of Shadouge to look forward to. I do not want this to reflect on this club, considering that we as the fans are what keep the Shadow x Rouge fantasy alive.
I do not want our ability to have an imagination to be taken away from the club's recent in-activeness and the franchise's shift.
It is important for us to be able to exercise our minds and have fun drawing two characters that we've all had a mutual interest in. I've met so many friends and networked with so many artists because of being a part of this club, and this fandom. I do not want to throw that opportunity for artists away.
I will be searching for alternatives to keep this club active, upgrades, and more to keep this place up and running better than it has before.
Again I apologize for the in activeness,
As the owner I picked Co-Owners or Moderators to help run the place but all of our lives have started to pull us away from our time here, and I apologize for that. I myself have really not had a life for a while. All my time goes into my studies at college, my grades, and applying for scholarships. The summer will start for me in 4 weeks. So expect a major update around that time.
If you would like to brainstorm or make suggestions for what you want to see from this club in the update, please comment. Always interested to hear member input and feedback.
If someone is interested in helping out with the club, leave a comment as well. I noticed that some of you were hinting at wanting to help out in the previous journal. Please let us know if you are still interested.
